Since I’ve reviewed the Leaf Spirit, I’m not going to talk much about the packaging. It’s exactly the same as the package for the Leaf Spirit. I really like the packaging. It’s heavy duty and you get a nice storage bag as well. You can fit everything in to the bag, or leave it all in the box. The box makes a very nice place to keep everything and even some condoms and a bottom of lube and such. If you want to see more about the package, please check out my Leaf Spirit review.
The toy itself is much like the Spirit. The Life has a hard body that’s covered in a soft matte silicone skin. The shape of the toy is the major difference. The Leaf is around 4″ long and 1.5″ at the widest and is a slight S shape. The point on one end is much thinner than the other end. The button is on the top near the thicker end and on the opposite side is the charging port. I really enjoy the shape and I find that it’s easy to hold. While it’s bigger than the Spirit, it can still easily fit between too bodies. It is very easy to clean, since it’s waterproof you can use soap and water, toy cleaner, etc. Since it is silicone, I would suggest using only a water-based lube with this.
As far as the vibrations, I feel like they are slightly deeper than the Spirit. I think that since it’s a bit larger, it has a slightly larger motor. The vibrations are fairly deep and range from a low medium to a medium high. The higher the vibrations go, the buzzier they get. The shape also adds to how the vibration feels. The point closest to the motor is very thin so you can get a pinpoint sensation. You can also use it with the end pointing away from your body to use the other side for a more broad vibration. The controls and charging are the same. To turn the Life on, you press the button to turn it on, but to increase the speed you press and hold the button and pressing the button quickly will turn it off completely. You can’t decrease the speed, which annoys me quite a lot. It also seems to keep a charge for a long time. But if you do need to charge it up, the LED under the button glows while charging and turns off when it’s fully charged. It will also flash red when you turn it on if the battery is getting low.
Overall, the Leaf Life is one of my favorite toys now. I love the shape, the feel of the silicone, the vibrations. I’m not so in love with the controls, but I can deal with it. It really made me love the Leaf line even more and I’m probably going to try to collect most all of them. Be sure to also check out my review of the Leaf Spirit, because it was pretty awesome too. Go check out the Leaf Life and the rest of the Leaf line at SheVibe.
