Endurance Needed – Spartacus Endurance Butterfly Style Clamps

Spartacus Endurance Butterfly Style Nipple Clamps

REVIEWED BY KIRA'S KINK

Even though I had a bad experience with nipple clamps, I can’t help but still love them. One of my favorite kinds of clamps are clover clamps, or butterfly style. When I was in the market for some new ones the name of these stuck out. These are the Spartacus Endurance Butterfly Style Clamps, available at SheVibe. Endurance? All right then, let’s see what you have!

WHAT IT IS

Nipple clamps are designed to pinch the nipples. Different clamps will have different levels of pain associated with them. Usually clover/butterfly clamps tend to be on the higher end of the pain scale, so I wouldn’t recommend them as a first clamp. If you love a tight clamp on your nipples, clover clamps are the way to go.

These particular clamps come with a chain connecting them. This adds additional weight, especially if standing or kneeling.

PACKAGING

The clamps come in a small black box. The front is see through and the clamps are visible. The company information is located on both the front and back. There’s an image that shows the intensity from a scale of 1-3. It places these between the 2-3.

SIZE

The total length of the clamps and chain is 19″. The clamp portion is 3.5″ long. At it’s widest point it is 1.5″ across. The chain is 12″ long and .25″ wide. The clamp padding is .25″ wide. These fit my somewhat small nipples (3/8″ wide) very well.

With the chain attached, these aren’t as small as other clamps. They’re still easy enough to place in a drawer and hide.

MATERIAL

There’s no info on what type of metal is used to make the clamps on the packaging. It does state that the pads are made of silicone, which is great for people who have issues with the rubber usually used.

The metal is black. It’s matte, but it does reflect some light. It picks up fingerprints pretty easily, but of course all metal does that to some extent.

DESIGN

The appearance is standard of all clamps of this style. They make a diamond like shape. They get widest in the middle and smaller at the two ends. One end attaches to the chain and the other is the clamping portion. The middle is where you squeeze to open the clamps and put them on.

When you press in on the middle the clamps open up. You can see how this looks in the photo. They open about .5″ at the most. They are not adjustable, so once you let go they clamp all the way down.

The pads are a cream color and each have four small raised dots on them. I can’t really feel these dots when I wear them, so I’m not sure if they’re there for stimulation or some other reason.

One of the pads fell off after a few uses, but I was able to easily get it back in place. If this continues to happen you can always glue it down.

The chain is a black link chain. It’s on the lighter side, so it doesn’t add so much weight that it’s uncomfortable. If you pull on the chain the clamps will become tighter. I didn’t notice a huge different in tightness from the standard clamped state and when I pulled on the chain.

CLAMPS IN USE

I have quite a few sets of clover clamps and have no issues with any of them. I was expecting this to be about the same as those. Boy was I wrong! When they say endurance, they’re seriously not kidding. It has the intensity level between 2-3 on the packaging. If this could be considered a 2, I don’t think I wanna go anywhere near the 3!

The first time I put these on I managed about a minute before I had to take them off. In subsequent uses, I got up to about 10 minutes. Many of my clamps I can wear much longer, but after 10 minutes of these I was bordering the not so fun pain. These clamps beat me, that’s for sure.

I have days where no clamps seem to be strong enough. I can now officially say I have the perfect clamps for days like that. On more sensitive days the mere thought of these will send chills down my spine.

RECOMMENDATION

Certainly not as a first pair of clamps! If you’ve tried lots of clamps and want something with a big bite, these are the clamps you need. If you can handle a lot of nipple torture, definitely try these out.

IN CONCLUSION

Rating: 5/5

Pros:

Strong clamping sensation, Nice color, Attached to a chain, Silicone padding.

Cons:

Will likely be too strong for many.
